HOW THE DESIGN PROCESS WORKS

GETTING TO KNOW YOU: Because each client’s needs are unique, my process starts with a consultation to explain our processes, get to know each other, and together we define the scope of the project and develop initial construction budgets. 

COLLABORATION, DESIGN & VISUALIZATION:  We work together to create unique and cozy spaces that are a true reflection of your style.  In this stage the creative design process gets moving with mood boards, schematic sketches, 2D space plans, 3D CAD modelings and drawings that will visually describe the room. 

REFINE THE DRAWINGS: We refine the drawings based on your feedback so that I can create a complete design package for contractors to bid from and for materials to be selected.

SELECTING MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS: Material specification is done in concert with finalizing the drawings. Documentation is then generated for fine-tuning construction budgets and timelines with a contractor/builder.

ONSITE MEETINGS DURING INSTALL: I assist in all aspects of the project, consulting and meeting with architects and contractors at key points to ensure our design concepts are executed well and the project is brought to completion.
